Our responsibility

Sustainability, in practice.

Sustainability questions should be connected to products and evidence. This page describes NATE’s approach to manufacturing, product use, operations and people. Use the supporting documents to discuss the materials, packaging and product requirements relevant to your furniture brief, without assuming every claim applies to every configuration.

01 / Responsible manufacturing

Better practices. From the factory floor.

Environmental responsibility starts with how we make things. Process control, energy management and cleaner production are part of the same work.

Robotic welding

Precision in production. Care in resource use.

Digital injection moulding and robotic welding support consistent production. Monitoring energy use and controlling processes help us identify waste at its source.

  • Cleaner production

Regular testing of wastewater, exhaust emissions and solid waste supports day-to-day environmental management.

  • Controlled waste handling

Used chemical packaging containers are collected and transported by qualified third-party providers.

  • Contributing to green design

NATE is one of the drafting organisations for GB/T 26694—2024, the Chinese standard for green design assessment of furniture.

02 / Product responsibility

Designed for use. Considered beyond it.

Longer service life, lower standby demand and recyclable protection: practical choices across the life of a motion system.

Lifting-column life-test cycles
10,000–20,000
Repeated movement testing supports durability and longer product use.
Controller standby power
0.1 W
Reduced from the 1 W standby level described in our company introduction.
Reported motor-efficiency improvement
20%
Brushless motor technology is part of our approach to efficient motion.

Figures are reported in the NATE company introduction. Results depend on the model, configuration and test conditions; they are not a lifetime guarantee or a claim for every product. Request product-specific specifications for your project.

Protection with a lighter material approach.

Honeycomb paperboard combines strength with low weight. Together with moulded-pulp inserts, it provides paper-based protection for products in transit.

Recyclable paper structures

Honeycomb paperboard protects through its structure, combining low weight with resistance to compression.

Formed to fit

Moulded-pulp inserts hold components in place and provide shaped protection during handling and transport.

Material compliance

RoHS and REACH test documentation is included in our company materials. WEEE marking addresses electrical equipment at end of life. Applicable requirements and reports are product-specific.

03 / The way we work

Responsibility is a daily practice.

Beyond the production line, we bring resource awareness into the office, our workflows and our relationships with suppliers.

Less waste in the everyday.

Progress also comes from ordinary decisions: the lighting we use, the materials we choose and the journeys we can avoid.

  1. A more considered office

Energy-efficient lighting, reusable utensils and recyclable paper stationery help reduce everyday consumption.

  2. Connected, less paper-intensive workflows

Kingdee ERP connects ordering, production and warehousing, supporting digital processes and reducing reliance on paper.

  3. Lower-impact travel

Video conferencing and lower-carbon transport options reduce the need for business journeys.

  4. Resource-conscious workplaces

Our green-office approach includes sustainable building materials, solar energy and waste-recycling systems.

  5. Working with suppliers

We encourage suppliers to provide environmentally considerate products and services, extending responsibility beyond our own operations.

04 / Shared responsibility

People are part of the commitment.

Supporting employees and contributing to the community are part of how we understand sustainable development.

Employee protection

Basic social insurance is complemented by accident and employer-liability cover and mutual-aid medical insurance.

Room to keep learning

Training funds, learning platforms and external training help employees develop new skills and technical knowledge.

A shared culture

Quality, integrity, innovation and teamwork shape our approach. Employee training connects these values with sustainable development.

Care that reaches beyond the workplace.

Our community activities include support during the COVID-19 response and staff participation in visits to families in need.

Supporting the story

Documents,
not just words.

Management systems & green design

The company introduction includes ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 certificates, a cleaner-production audit report, and NATE’s participation in drafting GB/T 26694—2024. Certificate validity and scope should be checked against the latest documents.

Product & material documentation

The supplied materials include RoHS and REACH test reports and WEEE marking. These are different forms of compliance documentation, not a single certification covering all NATE products. Please request the report for the model and market you are evaluating.

Social accountability: amfori BSCI

The company introduction includes an amfori BSCI audit dated April 2023, with an overall C rating and a stated validity end date in May 2024. This is a historical audit record, not evidence of a currently valid certification. Contact us for the latest social-audit information.
