A column is one part of a system: its mechanical mounting, control box, power supply and operating conditions must be checked together.

Column stroke describes travel; installed height describes the physical height at each position. Compare both with the furniture mounting points. NATE column load ratings are listed in newtons, while complete frame ratings may use kilograms; these are different specifications and should not be substituted. Review travel speed, controls and operating conditions with the selected model. Request its mounting drawing before designing the surrounding structure.
